You have $500 to your name to last an entire month. List the thing you're going to spend your money on- in order of importance- and reason for each item why it is more important than other options.

20 pounds of potatoes (roughly $25) - Need something to feed myself.

4 pounds of sliced turkey (roughly $28) - Have to have protein 

The other $447 will be spent on a used riding lawn mower and a few gallons of gasoline. I can turn over a profit by charging $15 dollars a yard and assuming i can mow 10 yards every 2 weeks then at the end of the month I should have $300. Reinvest buying the same amount of food and more gasoline, and I should have enough money left over for any kind of emergency costs. I will begin turning a profit by the end of the second month and by that time word will spread and I can begin doubling my business and becoming an entrepreneur.
